I hold a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Canterbury and have spent most of my working life as a software engineer.

At university I wrote a paper describing how to use a supercomputer to solve for holes in spatial networks. I spent three years as a technical writer for Telogisbefore leaving to write super-yacht software for McKay where I then helped build SCADAfarm.

Somewhere along the line I founded MobileNet to build iOS apps and iPad Hireto hire out iPads. I have a keen interest in mobile devices, geospatial software and the workplace.
